Tattoo Artist School

Tattoo artist school is made of either a conglomeration of tattoo artists doing their tattooing business or the term refers to a school where you can learn the art of tattoo. Presuming it is the earlier option, let’s see what the requirements of selecting a tattoo artist school are:
1.Work Record – An established tattoo school will have impressive work record. Assuming that you need to get a tattoo done, ask the tattoo artist school representative about their previous work records and their success rate. The success of tattoo schools depends upon their services, that is, the tattoo designs. Of course, the customers have the choice to bring in their own designs but the school should also maintain a record for the same.

2.Communications – If you cannot communicate with the member of the tattoo artist school who will be doing the inking, chances are that you won’t be entirely satisfied with the results. Why? In lack of communication, there would be sparse understanding of what you – client – and the artist is expecting from each other. Now, nobody is asking you to be friends or get close to the tattoo artists; only maintain open path for communication.

3.References – Ask the tattoo school artists for references of past clients. A genuine and decent tattoo school would definitely provide you with some references for you to double check their claims. If they don’t, you have every reason to avoid them. If they do, be sure to contact some or all of the referenced people and ask about their experience with the particular tattoo artist school. Ask the previous client about his / her experience in getting inked for the first time, were there any infections, what was the post tattooing precautions undertaken, and how is the school good with designs! Answers to these questions will give you idea about the tattoo artist school.

4.Affordability – Though ‘quality’ of the tattoo is more important, you should not disregard the affordability factor. Tattoo artist school charge on the basis of the designs sought for and level of experience the artist has. Depending on these factors, the school will designate a tattoo artist for you. Experienced and skilled tattoo artist will charge more than the new artists. Also, if you are looking for stock designs, they can come cheap as compared to custom ones. A stock image tattoo costs anywhere between $50 and $100 whereas the custom ones are in the minimum price range of $100 and $150. If money is not a constraint, you can spend more! Also, some tattoo artists charge on the basis of per hour, which can cost a minimum of $150 per hour.

These were some of the ways to select tattoo artist school. One thing you should not forget is the ‘goodwill’ of the tattoo artist school. Tattoo making is an art; art has value and develops goodwill with consistent work. This statement does not mean that one should discount those who are relatively new in the field. The statement is just an indication of the importance of experience and skill in building goodwill.
